Tell him: Current law has been interpreted to allow insurance carriers who offer group plans to deny coverage to people who may be injured solely because the injury resulted from participation in a legal mode of transportation or recreational activilty.This is in conflict with the intent of Congress when it originally passed the Health Insurance Portablility and Accountability Act.Please suport HR #1076 which would make it plain that this discrimination is not legal and would assure that coverage is not denied on this basis.
